Among the various industries we recruit for, we are exclusively retained to find an Export Marketing Manager based in Koufalia-Thessaloniki for a leading food production company.
About the role
The Export Marketing Manager will drive global market expansion by developing and executing strategic export marketing plans, managing international partnerships, and ensuring business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international marketing, negotiation, and the food production industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and monitor the Export Marketing Plan & Budget
- Develop and execute export marketing strategies for new and existing markets
- Conduct market research on trends, consumer preferences, and competitors
- Build and maintain relationships with international partners (distributors, wholesalers, retailers)
- Oversee branding, promotional activities, and social media in collaboration with external partners
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and certifications
- Analyze sales performance and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
- Manage export marketing operations, including budgeting, product concept development, and packaging design
- Organize and represent the company at global trade fairs (1-2 key exhibitions per year)
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Logistics, Production) to align marketing efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in export marketing within the food production or FMCG industry
- Fluency in English is required
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong strategic and creative thinking, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
