About the Role

Finance Business Ppartner acts as sparring partner for departments of responsibility, providing financial management information/ guidelines and advice to Operations Line Managers, supporting them in delivering financial targets. This role also contributes to the development of budget, outlooks and financial steering processes. Acts as an advisor from financial perspective and translates operational actions into financial
performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a proactive business partner, providing valuable financial insights and input to help steer daily operations and achieve financial targets
• Collaborate closely with Operations Department line managers to develop and implement financial strategies aimed at improving overall business performance
• Assist in preparing the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and month-end close processes, working with Operations Directors to provide accurate data and challenge inputs to optimize decision-making
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, and perform in-depth analysis of key financial performance indicators (KPIs)
• Prepare weekly rolling estimates in collaboration with the business, helping to guide the company toward achieving its financial goals
• Support Operations Directors in addressing any financial performance concerns, understanding key performance drivers, and developing updated financial projections
• Contribute to ad hoc financial projects that address the specific needs of the Operations Department
• Ensure compliance with relevant processes, policies, and internal controls in alignment with the Risk and Control framework

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Finance or a related field; a Master’s degree or ACCA certification (or equivalent) would be advantageous
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finance Business Partner in a senior role, with hands-on experience in financial analysis, tracking cost-saving measures (COGS), promotional evaluation, and business case preparation
• Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and present financial information to senior management
• Commercially driven mindset with the ability to challenge and influence investment decisions
• Experience in Retail or FMCG sectors is considered an asset
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion, and Power BI is desirable
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
