About the Role

Finance Business Partner acts as sparring partner for departments of responsibility, providing financial management information/guidelines and advice to Commerce & Marketing Line Managers, supporting them in delivering financial targets. This role also contributes to the development of budget, outlooks and financial steering processes. Acts as an advisor from financial perspective and translates operational actions into financial
performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a proactive business partner, providing daily financial insights to ensure business targets are met
• Collaborate closely with Commerce and Marketing line managers to help shape and implement financial strategies that improve business performance
• Assist in preparing the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and month-end financial processes by working with department directors to provide accurate data, challenge inputs, and enhance decision-making
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports and category/product performance analysis (including national and Private Label products) and conduct in-depth financial KPIs analysis
• Work closely with Trade Directors and senior commercial leaders to steer the business toward achieving its financial goals
• Prepare weekly rolling estimates and help guide the business towards meeting financial targets
• Support department directors in identifying and resolving financial performance concerns, understand key performance drivers, and contribute to financial projections
• Participate in ad hoc financial projects for both Finance and Commerce/Marketing departments
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, processes, and policies as per the company’s Risk and Control framework

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Finance or a related field; a Master s degree or ACCA certification (or equivalent) would be advantageous
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance professional in a senior role, with hands-on experience in product category financial analysis, COGS tracking, promotional evaluation, and business case development
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and present financial information to senior management
• A commercially driven mindset, with the ability to challenge and support investment decisions
• Experience in Retail/FMCG is highly desirable
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
• Proficiency in SAP, Hyperion, and Power BI is an asset
