We are hiring a PURCHASING MANAGER on behalf of Nous Santorini
Responsibilities:
- Managing, monitoring and handling the supply chain.
- Responsible for all food, drink and consumable procurement for the hotel.
- Continuously monitor and improve supplier performance by tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain excellent supplier relationships.
- Maintain an efficient system handling, coding and tracking of products and communicate with accounting on invoices which need researching.
- Work towards minimizing the number of suppliers and the administrative overload.
- Seek to continuously improve the effectiveness of the Purchasing operation.
Qualifications:
- Hospitality oriented.
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense.
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications required (Opera, MC).
- Excellent communication with the stakeholders, organizational and problem solving skills
