Executive Level team is looking for an experienced, self-driven and result-oriented person to join our client’s team, a Greek food production company:

The role

The successful candidate must be organized, positive, possibly multilingual and passionate for sales with enthusiasm and energy to develop sales strategies. You should excel in negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products. You should have excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Strengthening, leading and development of export to the area determined by the Management.
  • Maintenance of existing customers and markets as well as cultivation of new markets.
  • Draft of export strategies, budgets and calculations.
  • Be responsible for reaching the assigned regional target.
  • Implement national sales plans by developing field sales action strategies
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price within the relevant Area by keeping current with supply & demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.   
  • Feed into and help build the international strategy.
  • Build new relationships to unlock listings in both retailers and B2B customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer and identify opportunities
  • Preparation for and participation in exhibitions and customer meetings.
  • Provide full service and sales support including resolving day-to-day issues
  • Cooperation with the Operation and logistics department for production and orders execution.
  • Cooperation with the Financial Department for credit control etc.
  • Follow - up sales tasks.
  • Report to Managing & Commercial Director on progress and issues.

 Requirements

  • University degree in Economics or similar. MBA will be an advantage
  • 3-5 year experience in International Sales and in Food & Beverage industries
  • Fluent in English oral and written. A second foreign language will be an advantage
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong business management skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence effectively.
  • Availability to travel abroad
