We are a vigorous team of professionals specialised on providing premium executive search and assessment experience to the business world. Among the various industries we recruit for, we are exclusively retained to find a Managing Director for our client, a digital multinational entertainment group with multiple business lines under its management.

Our client has acquired many consumer sectors in the region that are set to digitalise rapidly and is continuously investing in fast-growing start-ups. We are looking for a Managing Director to join a highly dynamic and international team in order to launch a major new digital business in Greece, powered by world-class international white label tech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Launch a new business in Greece and then the wider region, backed up with capital, marketing and editorial support, back office, expertise etc.

  • Consumer-facing digital business, proven in other markets, not yet launched in Greece.

  • You will build and lead the whole team (product head, marketing head, industry expert etc).

  • You’ll learn an incredible amount, achieve amazing things and have lots of fun.  And sometimes tear your hair out as things go wrong and you have to work crazy hard to fix it, welcome to start-up life!

  • Build a winning B2C business in Greece.

  • Lead commercial, marketing and operations at every step of the way.

  • Lead the business and revenue growth of the market.

  • Be the “face and voice" of the company in front of media, prospects, partners and users.

  • Build the best team to win the market.

In your first 12 months you will:

  • Negotiate deals with a significant part of an exciting consumer-facing market.

  • Set up and supervise the operational process of digitalising their content.

  • Create a brand that has long-term resonance in the sector.

  • Ensure the white label provider delivers best-in-class iOS and Android apps and website.

  • Recruit an excellent team.

  • Launch the business.


  • You are a positive and energetic leader, ideally with experience building a consumer-facing digital business. Smart, driven and charismatic so people want to work with you.

  • 100% execution-minded and results oriented; relentless desire to learn and win.

  • A self-starter with ability to take on tasks independently and great team-player.

  •  Keen to work in a highly dynamic and international environment.

  • Able to manage small to medium-sized teams.

  • Sales and negotiating skills to set up deals with suppliers. B2C online marketing, tech and organisational skills also a plus.

  • Able to effectively communicate with both company’s local and international management.

  • 10-15 years of experience, ideally in a high-end international firm (strategy consulting, banking etc), but also in industry, either as a functional expert (eg in digital marketing) or as start-up country MD.

  • Experience in digital subscription businesses, other innovative B2C digital start-ups or the audio industry is a plus.  

  •  Perfectly fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal).
