Group Internal Auditor

Department: Internal Audit


Being a part of the Internal Audit team, reporting to the Group Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for:

  • Audit Delivery – planning, performing and reporting of audits on a risk assessed basis using appropriate, flexible, and cost effective methodologies that are in line with professional standards and customer needs, making full use of data analytics to deliver efficiencies and enhanced audit results
  • Action follow up – maintaining regular contact with process owners to obtain progress updates and drive timely completion of audit actions
  • Internal Audit Plan – actively contributing to the annual plan build exercise
  • Stakeholder and Relationship Management - actively developing strong relationships with a wide      range of business contacts to gain knowledge and insight into the issues affecting the business and  maintaining effective partnerships with business management teams
  • Continuous Improvement – promote the use of data and analytics within the Audit process and act as a subject matter expert in this area


You have:

  • Bachelor’’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, mathematics or a related discipline
  • 3-6 years of working experience in an audit environment (internal or external)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of risk and control audit methodologies and practical experience of auditing techniques, including risk assessment, controls evaluation, different testing methodologies and audit report writing
  • The ability to design and execute data analytics tests to support business process audits
  • Experience in data analytics tools like ACL, SQL and advanced excel
  • Very good command of the Greek and English language, both written and verbal
  • Good communication skills with the capability to build and maintain strong business relationships at varying levels of seniority
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • A willingness for learning and a desire to continually development and improve
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects
  • Multitasking skills and accountability for own work and deadlines


Skills considered as an asset:

  • Experience working across a range of audit areas, such as Operational, Business, Governance & Compliance and Financial or IT will be considered an asset
  • Relevant Professional Certification (completed or in the process of completing) such as CIA, CISA, ACCA
