The Role

The Plant Manager directs and manages all plant operations including production, warehouse, maintenance and quality. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring that company standards are achieved and maintained with an emphasis on continuous improvement, providing support, structure and training for employees at the plant. The Plant Manager will be required to be a hands-on, self-starter with the ability to motivate and lead staff.



  • All aspects of plant management with to assure cost-effective, timely and efficient production and coordinate distribution of consistently high-quality products.
  • Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed expectations
  • Manages plant finances regarding facilities and employees with headquarter office.
  • Work with a fully operational management structure including maintenance, quality assurance, warehouse, sanitation, finance and human resources.
  • Leads staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains workflow by monitoring and developing steps of the process by setting processing instructions, observing control points and equipment, monitoring staff.
  • Setting productions shifts accomplishing product manufacturing goals by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensures operation of equipment
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.


Desired Skills/Qualifications

  • A great leader with a passion for food and a desire to become a market leader.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience with at least 2 of those years in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep technical and experiential food manufacturing/product conversion knowledge.
  • A bias for action, strong execution capabilities and a proven track record of delivering results.
  • A hands-on leader who can also delegate and coach and counsel without micromanaging.
  • The ability to foster an environment committed to continuous improvement cost control and breakthrough innovation.
  • An unwavering commitment to associates including their; safety, well-being, morale, engagement and professional development and growth.
  • A solid understanding of food safety, OSHA and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to partner internally and externally in a cross-functional matrix environment to achieve results.
  • Mechanical Engineering or relevant Bachelor Degree
