The Role

The Brand Manager will need to develop, propose & implement medium and long term marketing objectives & plans, based on a thorough analysis and understanding of the market and competitive trends, as well as of consumer insights. She/he will need to implement the short term / annual brand plan consisting of proper product, price, place & promotion mix, in order to grow market share and deliver the targeted P&L objectives of the assigned brand. 

 

Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Executes the annual brand marketing plan and mix and implement specific brand activities
  • Plans and supervises media and promotion plans, based on a thorough analysis of marketplace opportunities, competition, category performance and the company’s financial targets.
  • Develop and execute national advertising and promotional activities to effectively communicate the strategic positioning and lifecycle development of products to customers.
  • Is the brand custodian and makes sure that all materials/communication developed by external vendors are according to the desired Brand image & strategy.
  • Manage day to day brand’s Marcom activities, and lead multiple communication projects with different agencies and contractors when required
  • Identify, develop, and launch new & existing concepts, services and products supporting the brand’s portfolio.
  • Responsible for early commercialization process including qualifying the concept, positioning, pricing, presenting to Sales, forecasting volume, and getting the budget approved.
  • Controls & allocates A&P budget making adjustments in response to market conditions and overall brand performance/priorities/market targets
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs

 

Desired Skills/Qualifications

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing Communication
  • Up to 5 years’ experience within an FMCG company
  • Insights in and knowledge of market trends, preferably in a B2C environment.
  • Experience in preparing marketing strategy, creating and activating marketing plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic and tight timeline environment
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders within an organization is essential.
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strategic perspective
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels within the organization and with external contacts
  • Experience with market research surveys & methodologies
