FAMAR S.A., a leading international service provider in health care industry with activities both in the Greek and the Western European area, seeks to recruit for its Head Office in Alimos:

Group Purchasing Controller
(Ref: GPC_112016)

The position holder will support the Purchasing Organization in its daily business for all topics which are finance oriented and on line with Corporate Finance requirements.

Main domains of responsibility are (but not limited to):

  • Monitoring of COGS and Non COGS items
  • Follow-up of suppliers rebates and services agreements
  • Provides a vision on Purchasing Prices evolutions
  • Monitoring of WCR through specific analysis and follow up of suppliers payment terms
  • Contributes to Purchasing initiatives to improve WCR
  • Purchasing annual budget: guarantee the accuracy of data (standard) provided by Purchasing to each Business unit
  • Guarantee the alignment between Supply Chain, Business untis and Purchasing organization


  • University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Logistics, or in another related quantitative field. Post Graduate degree (MSc, MA, MBA) will be considered an asset
  • 4-5 years of working experience at a relative role, preferably at well established multinational industrial company
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and experience particularly SAP (FI/CO/BW)
  • Fluency in English.
  • Well developed organizational and planning skills
  • Results orientation and efficiency
  • Able to work in a network organization / very good communication with people
  • Ability for frequently travelling
